Pros

- Lots of autonomy to do your work (expected to do it well) - Challenging work, get to wear many hats and develop your skills professionally. - Very supportive and collaborative working environment from the top down. In addition to your surrounding peers, you can walk into c-level employees' office or desk to get opinions, direction, or just bounce ideas off. - Great work-life balance: never feel uncomfortable or uneasy if I need to work from home, leave the office early for an appointment or attend a personal matter. - Something fun always happening in the office week-to-week. It's easy to see that the people responsible for the environment and office culture want to make this a place employees want to be in and it's working. Always see people staying later to just hang out with one another in the office.

Cons

- You need to be proactive in pushing your professional career further and broach the subject yourself. Always received well with a productive conversation following. - Technical resource availability: Competing priorities can sometimes push your project or deal to the side until resources are made available or a higher priority item is done. Can get frustrating when your hands are tied and you can't execute on your work.

Actually, I agree with both of these ‘cons’. The first is a conscious trade-off that we’ve made. We want to support our team in their professional development, but we do believe that this needs to be employee-led and they should suggest the path that is right for them. We’re always there to coach and guide, but if we were to outline a strict career path, then we wouldn’t see team members who’ve been able to shift from product development to client services, or from design to project management, or from data research to client support. The second is in-part because, as a start-up, we don’t have the capacity and resources we would want to have to do all of the things we have identified on our roadmap. So there will always be some desire to move more quickly than we would like. But there is also an aspect to this where we are not balancing our competing priorities as effectively as we could, resulting in too much context-switching from our engineering team. This has been identified as an area that we are currently working on to improve and I am hopeful that we will see a faster path forward in the near future.

Pros

The people I worked with were some of the best people I've come across in the industry so far. Self directed, creative and humble. They were very supportive and I learned a lot from them.

Cons

I think the biggest con is the shaky product market fit, but if the team keeps at it something will stick. One important ingredient for the company to succeed would be to control data acquisition pipeline and not depend upon partners in the b2b spectrum as a sole mechanism.

Pros

I've worked at Sensibill for almost two years now and it has been such a refreshing experience. Everyone is working towards the same goal and that cohesiveness makes for a great working environment. I've worked at other places where people are playing politics games and trying to get ahead of each other but at Sensibill it's understood that the way we move forward is by doing what's best for the company and our clients. We also have some great talent and I feel like I can trust my peers skillsets but also I can trust that their intentions are for the best and they want to help each other and the company succeed. I also wanted to call out how impressed I am with the diversity at Sensibill. You will rarely see this company waving a flag about how diverse they are but they live it. We have people from all walks of life and representation from so many different cultures. But the most important thing is that Sensibill strives to empower each employee and encourage them to use their experience and bring their own ideas to the table.

Cons

Sensibill is a startup in a niche market. There's a lot of obstacles to overcome in the industry and limited resources and startup grinding can make things difficult. We have been expanding our product line which is great but after having had just one product for so long it takes time to build up the right momentum.
