Pros

- CEO is actually a good guy trying to do his best - Sales team seems to know what they're doing (questionable methods sometimes)

Cons

- No career development - No tech vision - Is basically a bank (minus the money and the perks of being a bank) in a startups clothing (minus the hackathons, ping pong table, and the perks of being a startup) - Culture is defined by people who have no idea what it means to be a startup - Mediocre compensation makes for a demotivated and uninterested workforce - Crucial people on the tech team are leaving left right and centre, leaving mostly juniors in charge Last but not least: - Certain people are purposely writing fake 'good' reviews on glass door in order to bump up the rating and so that the top reviews that a person sees are all good

In the past 5 years, we’ve had several employees move around the company based on their own development desires. We endeavor to support everyone’s career development, but we can’t always provide people with the opportunity that they need. If that’s the case, we support them while they look for their next adventure and in turn, they help us find our next new hire. That’s a win-win in our eyes! To avoid ambiguity about career paths in the future, we’ve set out to define all job roles, career maps, and competency frameworks so that employees have a clear understanding of what’s expected of them, and how they can grow with Sensibill. I hope you stick around to see these initiatives in full force. Finally, we don’t define our company or our culture by its business stage, we define ourselves as an organization on a mission: to build a product that helps give time back to small business owners and freelancers so that they can focus on the things they love, stress free. Further, we define our company by its value system: getting sh*t done with passion, integrity, and excellence. A startup isn’t a culture in and of itself–– it’s a stage of business maturity. We’ve been fortunate enough to transition out of this phase as our client base and employee count grows. 2018 has seen the highest growth in senior talent to date, and hiring experienced leaders has been a strategic priority. On this front, we are confident that your concerns will subside.

Pros

The people I worked with were some of the best people I've come across in the industry so far. Self directed, creative and humble. They were very supportive and I learned a lot from them.

Cons

I think the biggest con is the shaky product market fit, but if the team keeps at it something will stick. One important ingredient for the company to succeed would be to control data acquisition pipeline and not depend upon partners in the b2b spectrum as a sole mechanism.

Pros

I've worked at Sensibill for almost two years now and it has been such a refreshing experience. Everyone is working towards the same goal and that cohesiveness makes for a great working environment. I've worked at other places where people are playing politics games and trying to get ahead of each other but at Sensibill it's understood that the way we move forward is by doing what's best for the company and our clients. We also have some great talent and I feel like I can trust my peers skillsets but also I can trust that their intentions are for the best and they want to help each other and the company succeed. I also wanted to call out how impressed I am with the diversity at Sensibill. You will rarely see this company waving a flag about how diverse they are but they live it. We have people from all walks of life and representation from so many different cultures. But the most important thing is that Sensibill strives to empower each employee and encourage them to use their experience and bring their own ideas to the table.

Cons

Sensibill is a startup in a niche market. There's a lot of obstacles to overcome in the industry and limited resources and startup grinding can make things difficult. We have been expanding our product line which is great but after having had just one product for so long it takes time to build up the right momentum.
