We work hard to ensure that we are compensating above market rate and providing employees with a comprehensive benefits package--we're glad you appreciated it!
To address your other points, Sensibill’s solution does have unique challenges as a B2B2C company. There’s a complex relationship between fintechs, enterprise banks, and the end-user. As a company building a solution to help end-users, we’re very interested in building a delightful experience, creating wow-moments, and digging into what users need in a receipt management solution. However, we have to balance these ideal end-user expectations against standards that enterprise banks expect, including strict accessibility, security and privacy guidelines. These elements have constraints that a B2C product doesn’t always need to consider.
That being said, we have a Product Team that has spent a lot of time and energy learning about the pain points and needs of our end-users. We’ve done customer empathy sessions, guerilla research, formal surveys with companies like Barlow Research Associates, and intensive usability and accessibility testing to learn about how people interact with our product. All of this data has been collected to help us build a solution that works both for our partner banks, and for their end-users. This goes beyond simple UX/UI enhancements, and delves into their expectations around how our product can help them run their businesses.
The work our Product Team is doing is a continuous and iterative process to help us build an accurate and useful product. We’re working on defining the product roadmap, and we’ll be sure to prioritize communicating it effectively so that there are no misconceptions in the future.
We know that we have a less typical business model and it isn’t for everyone. However, for some people, solving these problems is exciting. We’re lucky to have a lot of people on our team who are passionate about the unique challenges of a B2B2C operation.
