Pros

Salary - they are good at paying you a lot of money and also great benefits

Cons

They have zero clue what to take this SDK! Because the team never ever leaves the building. They are building things out of their own heads without speaking much to users. They have no data to support why the invest in those features that no one wants. In more than a year, they have given no additional use of digitized receipts to the end user. It still does not integrate with any book keeping software. A sales man CEO can shove coal for only so long. Soon banks, that are really dumb enough to pay for this, will realize zero value in this solution. How else you explain their competitor hubdoc showing so much traction. This is a sales driven company with no data oriented outlook. They cannot even define any KPI coherently. As soon as you talk of data, entire 'management' team starts sweating. All they do is process. No outcome driven. Only output driven.

We work hard to ensure that we are compensating above market rate and providing employees with a comprehensive benefits package--we're glad you appreciated it! To address your other points, Sensibill’s solution does have unique challenges as a B2B2C company. There’s a complex relationship between fintechs, enterprise banks, and the end-user. As a company building a solution to help end-users, we’re very interested in building a delightful experience, creating wow-moments, and digging into what users need in a receipt management solution. However, we have to balance these ideal end-user expectations against standards that enterprise banks expect, including strict accessibility, security and privacy guidelines. These elements have constraints that a B2C product doesn’t always need to consider. That being said, we have a Product Team that has spent a lot of time and energy learning about the pain points and needs of our end-users. We’ve done customer empathy sessions, guerilla research, formal surveys with companies like Barlow Research Associates, and intensive usability and accessibility testing to learn about how people interact with our product. All of this data has been collected to help us build a solution that works both for our partner banks, and for their end-users. This goes beyond simple UX/UI enhancements, and delves into their expectations around how our product can help them run their businesses. The work our Product Team is doing is a continuous and iterative process to help us build an accurate and useful product. We’re working on defining the product roadmap, and we’ll be sure to prioritize communicating it effectively so that there are no misconceptions in the future. We know that we have a less typical business model and it isn’t for everyone. However, for some people, solving these problems is exciting. We’re lucky to have a lot of people on our team who are passionate about the unique challenges of a B2B2C operation.

Pros

The people I worked with were some of the best people I've come across in the industry so far. Self directed, creative and humble. They were very supportive and I learned a lot from them.

Cons

I think the biggest con is the shaky product market fit, but if the team keeps at it something will stick. One important ingredient for the company to succeed would be to control data acquisition pipeline and not depend upon partners in the b2b spectrum as a sole mechanism.

Pros

I've worked at Sensibill for almost two years now and it has been such a refreshing experience. Everyone is working towards the same goal and that cohesiveness makes for a great working environment. I've worked at other places where people are playing politics games and trying to get ahead of each other but at Sensibill it's understood that the way we move forward is by doing what's best for the company and our clients. We also have some great talent and I feel like I can trust my peers skillsets but also I can trust that their intentions are for the best and they want to help each other and the company succeed. I also wanted to call out how impressed I am with the diversity at Sensibill. You will rarely see this company waving a flag about how diverse they are but they live it. We have people from all walks of life and representation from so many different cultures. But the most important thing is that Sensibill strives to empower each employee and encourage them to use their experience and bring their own ideas to the table.

Cons

Sensibill is a startup in a niche market. There's a lot of obstacles to overcome in the industry and limited resources and startup grinding can make things difficult. We have been expanding our product line which is great but after having had just one product for so long it takes time to build up the right momentum.
