Pros

- good pay - decent benefits - you will meet some cool people

Cons

My advice is still stay away if you can. If you are unemployed and need something, then take the paycheck. But this is not a place to advance your career. The work you will do will be mindless and basic. They oversell what they do and how they do it (i will give them this: they have a great marketing team). If you decide to give this place a chance, you will find out soon enough. The leadership team is highly dishonest and resorts to chicanery quite a bit. They laid off people claiming they were negatively impacted by covid (their product doesn't solve a meaningful issue for most users, that's the real issue). But they have been hiring as many people as they laid off and still going. So, obviously covid didn't affect their ability to pay salaries. They just didn't care for some people and decided not to spend anytime on coaching and/or performance training. On top of that, they are outsourcing some work to an agency, but they are been coy about it, keeping most of their engineers in the dark. Most people don't know or if they know, leadership is under-representing what work they are doing. In conclusion: they have no integrity and the work will bore you. If you have another offer, take that one. If not, take it but keep looking.

We know perception shapes reality, so thank you for sharing and allowing us to clarify your perspective. I will first respond to your opinion that we lack integrity and don’t care. I was lucky enough to join Sensibill as VP of People 3.5 months ago, and I can assure you that we actually stand behind the integrity we commit to. My peers and leaders within the Senior Leadership Team really have shown me that we put people first. 2020 has proven to be a tough year and we had to make some very tough decisions; however, that does not mean business stops. Yes, we are hiring for new roles, promoting from within, and recognizing superior contributors, but that does not mean the decisions made when the pandemic hit were anything other than thought out and data-driven. We have put some great tools in place over the last few months so we can create channels for consistent feedback, alignment and transparency. This would have helped us clarify your impression and thoughts when you felt as you did. We wish you well and my sincerest apologies for anything other than an exceptional employee experience. Sincerely, Jennifer

Pros

The people I worked with were some of the best people I've come across in the industry so far. Self directed, creative and humble. They were very supportive and I learned a lot from them.

Cons

I think the biggest con is the shaky product market fit, but if the team keeps at it something will stick. One important ingredient for the company to succeed would be to control data acquisition pipeline and not depend upon partners in the b2b spectrum as a sole mechanism.

Pros

I've worked at Sensibill for almost two years now and it has been such a refreshing experience. Everyone is working towards the same goal and that cohesiveness makes for a great working environment. I've worked at other places where people are playing politics games and trying to get ahead of each other but at Sensibill it's understood that the way we move forward is by doing what's best for the company and our clients. We also have some great talent and I feel like I can trust my peers skillsets but also I can trust that their intentions are for the best and they want to help each other and the company succeed. I also wanted to call out how impressed I am with the diversity at Sensibill. You will rarely see this company waving a flag about how diverse they are but they live it. We have people from all walks of life and representation from so many different cultures. But the most important thing is that Sensibill strives to empower each employee and encourage them to use their experience and bring their own ideas to the table.

Cons

Sensibill is a startup in a niche market. There's a lot of obstacles to overcome in the industry and limited resources and startup grinding can make things difficult. We have been expanding our product line which is great but after having had just one product for so long it takes time to build up the right momentum.
