Pros

the pros are good pay and benefits

Cons

Sensibill, oh, where to start? Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The 5-star reviews are either fabricated or pressured to be written. I’m not saying to only pay attention to the negative ones, but I would caution you that 5-star is far from the truth. I would say at most, 3-stars are reasonable. While, 4s and 5s are fictitious, forced or from a new employee who has not been exposed to the reality, especially in this new virtual setting. Those 4/5-star reviews most likely will not be your experience – you will come to realize that, as most of us have. With that said, the positives, as mentioned above, are: good pay and benefits. Depending on your luck of the draw, your manager could make it an accommodating and flexible place to work, or you could get that one bad higher up and your workload will be insane and unmanageable, and your day beyond stressful. This place is dysfunctional – the CEO leaves a lot to be desired, the COO has too much pride and egotism to operate effectively, the product you will be working on is subpar, with little being done to actually improve it. What’s more, plans for the next generation or product are not properly in place or thought out and definitely not set up for success. They are good at recruiting, but not retaining. That’s because the smoke and mirrors only last so long until people realize the truth of this place – there is no future here.

Thanks for leaving your feedback for us to consider as we aim to continuously improve our employee experience. We’re sorry to hear that your time at Sensibill wasn’t the 5-star experience we strive to provide our employees, and that you didn’t feel empowered to share your feedback with us during your tenure. We provide all our employees with multiple outlets to provide constructive feedback through weekly anonymous pulse check surveys, monthly transparency talks, and regular 1:1s between employees and managers. While the Sensibill experience does vary manager to manager, we do meet with each team leader on a monthly basis to go through their engagement results and develop action plans to improve any of the 10 metrics measured for the month ahead. We’re also really excited about the future of our product in the Sensibill Platform; and we’re not the only ones - our clients and prospects are too! Our team has worked ardently on the delivery of our new Spend Manager product in the last few months, and our Spend Insights team has hit the ground running on some exciting new technology. Again, we’re sorry your experience didn’t go as you had hoped, and wish you all the best in the future.

Pros

The people I worked with were some of the best people I've come across in the industry so far. Self directed, creative and humble. They were very supportive and I learned a lot from them.

Cons

I think the biggest con is the shaky product market fit, but if the team keeps at it something will stick. One important ingredient for the company to succeed would be to control data acquisition pipeline and not depend upon partners in the b2b spectrum as a sole mechanism.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience at Sensibill. And we completely agree; Sensibillians are incredibly talented people! With regards to market fit, Sensibill is passionate about and excited by growth in clients who are solving small business pain points, and the hand we’ve had in assisting them in that space.

Pros

I've worked at Sensibill for almost two years now and it has been such a refreshing experience. Everyone is working towards the same goal and that cohesiveness makes for a great working environment. I've worked at other places where people are playing politics games and trying to get ahead of each other but at Sensibill it's understood that the way we move forward is by doing what's best for the company and our clients. We also have some great talent and I feel like I can trust my peers skillsets but also I can trust that their intentions are for the best and they want to help each other and the company succeed. I also wanted to call out how impressed I am with the diversity at Sensibill. You will rarely see this company waving a flag about how diverse they are but they live it. We have people from all walks of life and representation from so many different cultures. But the most important thing is that Sensibill strives to empower each employee and encourage them to use their experience and bring their own ideas to the table.

Cons

Sensibill is a startup in a niche market. There's a lot of obstacles to overcome in the industry and limited resources and startup grinding can make things difficult. We have been expanding our product line which is great but after having had just one product for so long it takes time to build up the right momentum.
