Pros
• Pays its employees very well. • Provides a sense of security to its employees in their work environment when working in a not so great area of town. • Provides very generous benefit options to its employees.
Cons
• Management avoided walking by me in the hallways to avoid talking to me on multiple occasions. I would ask to meet with them to discuss my position and goals on multiple occasions, but was ignored every time. • When applying for other internal positions I was never met with to talk about my interest in other positions. An old manager approached me at one point to tell me that a current manager of mine had communicated to not consider me for any positions at all. When asking to meet about this I was ignored yet again. • Incredibly lazy lab staff. About a third to half of the lab staff was notorious for doing nothing with most of their time. They would constantly be sitting around talking, eating, or playing on their phones.
