Pros
I personally like the culture that has been established. 1) There is a lot of cross-training. With this comes increased communication and collaboration. 2) A great on-boarding program. The structure is great and the planning of it is always getting better. The staff responsible for training do a great job of time management and explaining instructions. Not many companies offer 24/7 feedback. 3) Sensient provides the tools necessary for a comfortable working environment. 4) They love to eat. 5) Their science is top notch. 6) They have the right people in the right place. 7) They don't punish for mistakes and praise integrity...if you don't learn from your past mistakes probably not the right company.
Cons
People will say the dress code is a con because of the strictness of the dress code. However, I was born with the sang, "Your business will never out grow your self image". This being said if looking professional is a con you probably won't like it. The cross-training can also be viewed as a con because sometimes one has to take on more work when a coworker is out of the office. Once again, if teamwork is a con, probably not the right job. They are recovering from a restructuring so some processes and bottlenecks are viewed as a con, but I only see these getting better.
