Pros

The relationships you create with coworkers bc of a mutual hatred for the company

Cons

-put in my 2 week notice and they terminated me -did not pay out my PTO or last 2 weeks of work -management does not care about burning out employees -they advertise as an all US staff, but they have begun hiring out of country -VPS do not care about functionality. They take on more customers and are losing more employees and expect them to take on more work without proper compensation -managers have taken away lunch and trains -severely understaffed in ALL shifts -slight racist and sexist vibes with NO remediation from HR

Even when you are selected as a best-in-class employee-focused company with recognition from multiple independent sources (national awards from Top Workplaces U.S.A., consecutive annual awards from the Chicago Tribune (11!), the Detroit Free Press (5), the Milwaukee Sentinel (4) and the Arizona Republic (9)), it’s disappointing to see the experience for even one team member did not meet our standards. We believe that everyone has the right to feel valued and respected in the workplace, and we remain dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive culture for all our team members. While we recognize that there is always room for improvement, we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that our workplace remains a place where everyone can thrive. Unfortunately, this review also contains some concerning statements and inaccuracies. 1. Of concern was the use of the term "mutual hatred for the company" without any evidence or substantiation. This overbroad and disturbing statement can be harmful and may also unfairly implicate others. We would encourage any team member who has experienced such deep-rooted despair to bring it forward to management and/or HR, where we offer wellness services in support of establishing and maintaining positive mental health. 2. In at-will employment states in the U.S., such as Illinois, either the employer or employee can terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. An employer can accept an employee's resignation and choose to terminate their employment immediately, as in this case, and pay the employee for the time they worked up until the termination date, even if the employee provided a two-week notice. 3. As with most companies, Personal Time Off is an earned benefit at Sentinel. When an employee terminates, Sentinel pays out what has been earned up to the date of termination. 4. There has been no elimination of any basic accommodations, such as lunch and training opportunities, and no concerns raised with respect to DE&I-related matters. All employees have a right to a lunch break, we place great value on expanding capabilities through training, and all employees are required to regularly complete DE&I training. We sincerely wish you well in your future endeavors.

Pros

They are focused on security and are effiecient. Coworkers have worked their over a decade and I see hires get moved around to other positions.

Cons

I questioned the way coworkers got terminated and if what got told afterwards to coworkers was accurate.
