Pros
SentinelOne treats you like a person, not an employee. That is fully reflected in the employees’ benefits. Not only they are great benefits but there is an array of benefits that I did not even know employers would offer employees. I am starting with benefits because is this day and age, that is probably the most important aspect for most of us when accepting a new position. It is also fully reflected in how management treats/interacts with employees. They lead by example. They encourage people to speak up. You are required to review your manager (I have never had that opportunity with any of my previous employers). Compensation is fair and based on meritocracy (not office policies). Collaborative, diverse and inclusive work environment. Fun but serious work culture. True work-life balance. Technology to ensure you have the flexibility you need to work remotely. Training processes are great and really help people to feel comfortable in each position. Fast-paced growth with innovation around every corner. Opportunity for both lateral and upward career development. Great people to work with and a partnership spirit that makes a difference in how your daily work goes about. Personally, I would like to mention the HR Team. Unlike any other employer, the HR Team is absolutely amazing and extremely supportive. The hiring process is very streamlined, with all expectations clearly outlined. I am one of the employees who needed to have employment verification and they made it extremely easy, with no additional efforts from me. They are in constant contact with employees with regard to any benefits/company policies changes/requirements. You don’t understand something or have additional questions, someone actually takes the time to talk to you instead of the ever-present e-mails back and forth. Everything is available to you in digital format, in a single portal. From there you can do everything, from accessing your employee profile to requesting time off. Most importantly, they are available to you. They do not live in a bubble or surrounded by walls you have to climb. They are accessible. They offer a lot of tools and support in dealing with stress, fatigue, which proves once again SentinelOne's commitment to the human approach when it comes to their employees' well-being and state of mind. SentinelOne has a very good referral program that allows employees to recommend their own network to fill in open positions. If the candidate is successfully hired, the referral source is compensated.
Cons
Having such a fast-paced growth, it may feel challenging/stressful perhaps even overwhelming sometimes for some. So, you need to be able to embrace change and perhaps stepping out of your comfort zone (once in a while) particularly if you are the type of person used to a routine.
