Pros

They really focus on a team based environment, which ends up making your co-workers feel like a family since you spend so much time together. There are training opportunities if you are full time, or on management track Gratis

Cons

Often have to work longer shifts to cover for co-worker/if there were more clients than staff that had been scheduled Expected to go above and beyond job description in order to get everything done Very little opportunity for upward mobility within the company, if you start at store level its very unlikely you will end up any further than store management, plus they tend to work on a seniority systems as opposed to qualifications part-timer or seasonal workers will get little training turnover

Pros

Friendly, knowledgeable, supportive coworkers. Management is generally pretty good. You get to work with all the fun products and learn directly from brand reps. And the customers are there to learn about the products - and you get to talk to them about the best products. If you're excited about Sephora, go apply!

Cons

Hours vary based on the time of the year.
