This position is a education and certification role. You get to train and coach peers as well as view skin as your own little business. Compare numbers and watch how brands are doing.

Cons

Your role doesn't live in store. You're more of just a skin consultant. Not really any office to prep for your job or any follow up. No cadence of accountability. Not to mention your peers do not view you as elevated.

Pros

I've worked at two different locations in different cities. Both locations have WONDERFUL management, they are always super understanding. They lead with integrity and passion for beauty. Gratis is always a plus! But being apart of a team that has your back and truly wants to see you thrive makes all the difference!

Cons

I really don't have any cons for Sephora. They have poured into me the same way I've poured into the clients that come into the store. My only wish would be that Flex employees also receive gratis because they too need training products in order to recommend brands to clients.
