Favoritism is a number 1 factor if you aren't kissing Burt to your manager forget about it. Racial slurs is correct expect about Asians and African Americans. Asians that cant speak English and African Americans who shop automatic their trying to steal things. You only receive gratis when you continue to work if you quit and haven't received your gratis your not getting it. I haven't received my gratis in 3 months and my manager harassed the hell out of my life the week I put my 2weeks she said I couldn't get gratis cause I was quitting mind you it was 400 dollars worth of gratis I worked hard on. I had to watch everyone receive their gratis and didn't receive anything which was not fair. If customers mistreat you they expect you not to say anything back. Cma which was ur makeup appt to apply makeup only went to certain employees they favored you have to kiss butt and throw ppl under the bus to get what you want. Have to continuously watch your back cause women can be a bit too Caty thinking their all that. Managers degrade you and discourage you my manager told me I wasnt passionate to work their and expected me to continued to make 300 dollars worth for each client to help with sales like thats not apporiate. Expects you to push hair skin and makeup. Tells you you're going to move up in the company and does shady things behind your back to mislead you

Pros

I've worked at two different locations in different cities. Both locations have WONDERFUL management, they are always super understanding. They lead with integrity and passion for beauty. Gratis is always a plus! But being apart of a team that has your back and truly wants to see you thrive makes all the difference!

Cons

I really don't have any cons for Sephora. They have poured into me the same way I've poured into the clients that come into the store. My only wish would be that Flex employees also receive gratis because they too need training products in order to recommend brands to clients.
