The company brings in reps from brands to do training days with cast members. The reps are great motivators and often leave great gratis. The gratis is a great and effective training tool and a wonderful perk of working for Sephora.
Cons
Low pay, crappy hours, benefits cost a lot out of pocket and provide little coverage. Sephora’s clients often have a strong sense of entitlement and can be extremely rude.

Hi! Thanks for leaving this review and providing your feedback -- we love to hear from employees! I agree, the gratis and training that our brand partners provide is pretty amazing. I see your comment about benefits and wanted to clarify that we have multiple benefit plan options where you can define your premiums and deductibles based on what makes sense for you and your family -- but unfortunately, the cost of healthcare in general is pretty expensive. Sephora actually pays for 75% of the cost and employees pay for the remaining 25%, which is very competitive in the industry! Unlike some other retailers, we've been able to negotiate with our healthcare providers to keep costs low and haven't significantly raised our premiums thanks to our amazing benefits team! -Teresa
I've worked at two different locations in different cities. Both locations have WONDERFUL management, they are always super understanding. They lead with integrity and passion for beauty. Gratis is always a plus! But being apart of a team that has your back and truly wants to see you thrive makes all the difference!
Cons
I really don't have any cons for Sephora. They have poured into me the same way I've poured into the clients that come into the store. My only wish would be that Flex employees also receive gratis because they too need training products in order to recommend brands to clients.
