Pros

Staff are really nice, you get gratis, they’re very accommodating to some people’s schedules. Some people at my location only work a day a week, it’s rare but if you’ve been with the company long enough they will be really understanding, I think. I wouldn’t ask for that initially though. You can receive bonuses some. Months, though they aren’t guaranteed.

Cons

Staff aren’t transparent about pay. I recently learned that my pay is $2-3 under most of my coworkers per hour. My pay is $3.50 under living wages for a full time employee in my area. I’m only able to work part time so it’s not livable wages. They also don’t properly map out your personal responsibilities or you’ll have counterintuitive responsibilities. We’re sometimes understaffed and because of this you need to be flexible and ask if your responsibilitiesa need to be shifted. Sometimes i get completely different orders from leadership.

Pros

I've worked at two different locations in different cities. Both locations have WONDERFUL management, they are always super understanding. They lead with integrity and passion for beauty. Gratis is always a plus! But being apart of a team that has your back and truly wants to see you thrive makes all the difference!

Cons

I really don't have any cons for Sephora. They have poured into me the same way I've poured into the clients that come into the store. My only wish would be that Flex employees also receive gratis because they too need training products in order to recommend brands to clients.
