Pros

- LOTS gratis - brand trainings - product knowledge grows substantially

Cons

- horrible management - catty “cast members” (staff) - Under paid - illegal scheduling (not enough hour rest period, try to be forced into working more hours than obligated from position) - tax removal? What’s that? Never heard of it. Expect to owe a lot of money. - hygiene at that store is borderline non-existant. They dont even allow you to clean your brushes, you cant do it after your shift either because they dont like people hanging around when your shift is over. - their values are BS. The management talked smack about other cast members to me. MANAGERS talking SMACK about THEIR TEAM. They wonder why they cant keep people.

Pros

I've worked at two different locations in different cities. Both locations have WONDERFUL management, they are always super understanding. They lead with integrity and passion for beauty. Gratis is always a plus! But being apart of a team that has your back and truly wants to see you thrive makes all the difference!

Cons

I really don't have any cons for Sephora. They have poured into me the same way I've poured into the clients that come into the store. My only wish would be that Flex employees also receive gratis because they too need training products in order to recommend brands to clients.

Pros

Friendly, knowledgeable, supportive coworkers. Management is generally pretty good. You get to work with all the fun products and learn directly from brand reps. And the customers are there to learn about the products - and you get to talk to them about the best products. If you're excited about Sephora, go apply!

Cons

Hours vary based on the time of the year.
