Pros

Gratis, networking opportunities, brand trainings.

Cons

As a lead you are told you are in management and yet if you have any experience as a makeup artist you won't be given office time to do your job and instead will be scheduled as the only makeup artist due to low payroll hours. The company has also gone downhill in terms of education since about 2 years ago. Associates used to be flown (pre covid) across the country to major brand trainings which made them feel special and appreciated. Bonus structure keeps changing and now we only bonus off of sales if we even hit that Mark during a pandemic. No pay increase this year due to the pandemic.

Pros

I've worked at two different locations in different cities. Both locations have WONDERFUL management, they are always super understanding. They lead with integrity and passion for beauty. Gratis is always a plus! But being apart of a team that has your back and truly wants to see you thrive makes all the difference!

Cons

I really don't have any cons for Sephora. They have poured into me the same way I've poured into the clients that come into the store. My only wish would be that Flex employees also receive gratis because they too need training products in order to recommend brands to clients.
