Pros

The training opportunities are pretty amazing if you take advantage of them- its possible to learn a lot. In comparison to other retail jobs, the opportunities for growth, job security, and compensation overall is above average for sure. For the most part, the staff is fun to work with and they are very generous when it comes to gratis.

Cons

It is a very corporate environment - if you work well within those kinds of confines you can succeed and find growth opportunities. That said, it can be a bit catty and everyone takes it a bit too seriously - you kind of have to drink the kool-aid to enjoy it.

Pros

I've worked at two different locations in different cities. Both locations have WONDERFUL management, they are always super understanding. They lead with integrity and passion for beauty. Gratis is always a plus! But being apart of a team that has your back and truly wants to see you thrive makes all the difference!

Cons

I really don't have any cons for Sephora. They have poured into me the same way I've poured into the clients that come into the store. My only wish would be that Flex employees also receive gratis because they too need training products in order to recommend brands to clients.

Pros

Friendly, knowledgeable, supportive coworkers. Management is generally pretty good. You get to work with all the fun products and learn directly from brand reps. And the customers are there to learn about the products - and you get to talk to them about the best products. If you're excited about Sephora, go apply!

Cons

Hours vary based on the time of the year.
