Pros

Love being around and learning about beauty products constantly. Decent discount. Pretty decent wage.

Cons

Overworked and no one cares if you're sick and will let you stay home. (Had to run and throw up during an express service one time) Management staff doesn't care about your well being and will not work around your availability. Management staff also gets every other weekend off while the Product Consultants do not get weekends off ever. Me taking one Saturday off was like the worst thing that has ever happened to my manager. They refuse to work with a semi busy schedule. Managers way or the highway. If you aren't the most educated in certain brands or worlds in sephora, other coworkers will jump in and make you look stupid in front of a client. Also, training was 3 eight hour days in a row of all videos. It's hard to learn any info from that. So far in this company, I do not like the way its run. They do not make sure popular items are constantly stocked. But keep up on lesser items which makes no sense to me. I really have nothing good to say about this company or my store in general.

Pros

I've worked at two different locations in different cities. Both locations have WONDERFUL management, they are always super understanding. They lead with integrity and passion for beauty. Gratis is always a plus! But being apart of a team that has your back and truly wants to see you thrive makes all the difference!

Cons

I really don't have any cons for Sephora. They have poured into me the same way I've poured into the clients that come into the store. My only wish would be that Flex employees also receive gratis because they too need training products in order to recommend brands to clients.

Pros

Friendly, knowledgeable, supportive coworkers. Management is generally pretty good. You get to work with all the fun products and learn directly from brand reps. And the customers are there to learn about the products - and you get to talk to them about the best products. If you're excited about Sephora, go apply!

Cons

Hours vary based on the time of the year.
