Pros

Great training and free products monthly. You learn a lot about the beauty industry and brands (and you have to, so study up). You become very close with your team and managers, but there also tends to be drama as well. Free uniforms. Great starting pay for a retail job where no license is needed. Very fun place to work.

Cons

Retail hours, busy holiday season, LOTS of cleaning...I mean LOTS. I worked for Sephora inside JCP and I hated that part (being "a part" of the JCP business). Drama (I mean it's mainly all girls). Difficult to rise within the company (but not impossible, just have to wait for an opening).

Pros

I've worked at two different locations in different cities. Both locations have WONDERFUL management, they are always super understanding. They lead with integrity and passion for beauty. Gratis is always a plus! But being apart of a team that has your back and truly wants to see you thrive makes all the difference!

Cons

I really don't have any cons for Sephora. They have poured into me the same way I've poured into the clients that come into the store. My only wish would be that Flex employees also receive gratis because they too need training products in order to recommend brands to clients.

Pros

Friendly, knowledgeable, supportive coworkers. Management is generally pretty good. You get to work with all the fun products and learn directly from brand reps. And the customers are there to learn about the products - and you get to talk to them about the best products. If you're excited about Sephora, go apply!

Cons

Hours vary based on the time of the year.
