Pros

I gave two stars based on the fact that yes, you recieved gratis, and also you can receive bonuses based on sales at the end of the fiscal period.

Cons

I have never worked for a more one-sided, favortism based retail family in my entire career. At some points, it was so disgusting that I had to bite my tongue and pray that I had interviews coming up to replace this paycheck. Work/life/balance revolved around the leadership team and placed their concerns and lives first over the sake of their stage team. I'm starting to hear of it more and more at other locations from cast members, and it doesn't surprise me. They have cut crucial hours from the floor, and morals of other cast members reflected the way in which it is operated. Cat fights, eye rolling, lack of respect to the customers, all of this would happen because lack of leadership on the floor. I have watched people be bullied out of their jobs due to cliques on the floor. It's their word against theirs. This job was phenomenal the first couple of years, but by the end I was so disgusted at the lack of good leadership taking place, I couldn't wait to find another job. I wish I could have left sooner! There are phone lines for cast members to call in anonymously about the constant mistreating of individuals, but I think that they are in fear to take a stand against all that I mentioned, and fear losing their jobs. I wished that things would change, but in the end I had to get out for the sake of my own sanity.

Pros

I've worked at two different locations in different cities. Both locations have WONDERFUL management, they are always super understanding. They lead with integrity and passion for beauty. Gratis is always a plus! But being apart of a team that has your back and truly wants to see you thrive makes all the difference!

Cons

I really don't have any cons for Sephora. They have poured into me the same way I've poured into the clients that come into the store. My only wish would be that Flex employees also receive gratis because they too need training products in order to recommend brands to clients.
