Pros

One of the most fun, energetic work places I have ever been apart of. I learned so much, got to meet so many people, and got so much free makeup. Great benefits even for part time employees.

Cons

It was pretty clear at the time that I left that the company as a whole was having trouble adapting to the new normal of the cosmetics industry. Their status as a luxury brand was only getting them so far and Ulta and Morphe were outselling them in the retail space. As soon as sales started to flounder all of a sudden work life balance and employee satisfaction weren't priorities. They also do not pay competitively at all.

Pros

I've worked at two different locations in different cities. Both locations have WONDERFUL management, they are always super understanding. They lead with integrity and passion for beauty. Gratis is always a plus! But being apart of a team that has your back and truly wants to see you thrive makes all the difference!

Cons

I really don't have any cons for Sephora. They have poured into me the same way I've poured into the clients that come into the store. My only wish would be that Flex employees also receive gratis because they too need training products in order to recommend brands to clients.

- creativity is encouraged - good team

Cons

- can have sparse hours - Flex employment can make it difficult to grow in the company - emphasis on the use of mobile technology can hinder the experience for the client and the employee
