Pros
The best part of the job are the amazing people you will meet. From all walks of life, and all personality types, I've met them all. You get a great discount, and tons of free product. You also have to have zero cosmetic experience...if you have a passion and an interest, they will teach you everything about everything. Even though the provided uniform may not be that cute, I do like that they provide one for you- you never need to go shopping for work clothes, or worry about what to wear. There are plenty of opportunities for advancement...but they don't do so quickly! In most cases you have to be with the company for a number of years before you get a significant promotion.
Cons
The policies, regulations, etc. are CONSTANTLY changing. Just when you get used to something one way, they change it on you. Again. For being an LVMH company, the pay is not very competitive, (compared to our big competition like MAC) and the raises they give are generally small. Development happens, but is incredibly rare.
