Pros

-Pension -Deferred comp with match -Best healthcare, dental, & vision with low contributions($14 a paycheck as single person, can't beat that) -Be part of historic organization that contributes to the quality of life in Southeastern PA. -Get to ride free on SEPTA system

Cons

-Upper Management who only care about the numbers, not people -Political Atmosphere: if you anger the wrong people, you will be gone or they will make your life miserable. I saw a project manager lady that was fired the week before Christmas. -Culture of intimidation that looks down upon their subordinates. People are afraid to say anything to their managers for fear getting in trouble. -Everyone seems miserable which creates a terrible workplace culture and low overall morale. -Too many chiefs. You need more people that actually do the work and less managers.

Pros

Free rides on public transit

Cons

If you come in as entry level engineer the only way to move from entry level to higher level position is to wait the prescribed number of years, which is 2.5 years, even if you came in with experience
