Pros

The salary (but this doesn’t outweigh the cons).

Cons

1. Management - unprofessional and not compassionate in the slightest. 2. Super high turnover of staff - they literally don’t care if you stay or leave, sometimes will make your life a misery so that you are forced to leave. Most people leave within 1 year. 3. No acknowledgment or praise for working hard. 4. NO work life balance - they say it’s 9-5 but there’s always an expectation to start early and finish late, without any recognition of this (to realistically get all the work done, you’ll need to be starting between 8-8.30 and finishing past 5 most days). 5. Lack of support and care throughout. 6. No care about employee support or wellbeing. 7. HIGH risk of burnout. 8. The money is not worth the misery and stress they put you through - you will feel completely trapped in the job with no confidence or self esteem by the end of it. 9. This company does not deserve hard-working healthcare professionals because it honestly doesn’t care about them. 10. Just save yourself the stress and apply for a job literally anywhere else!!!

Pros

You get to directly impact clients' success. "Decent" pay for the location.

Cons

Leadership will shift blame onto teams instead of taking accountability for their own shortcomings, and Program Managers won't take the time to seek clarification, leading to misinformed decisions and unfair outcomes. They are more focused on internal politics and protecting their seat than recognizing or rewarding actual contributions. You can work hard for years with consistently strong performance and still be passed over for promotion in favor of someone who has built the right relationships with management, even if the have not proven themselves yet. Support is subpar. Employees often spend more time troubleshooting issues themselves than receiving timely or effective assistance.
