Pros
Can not think of any. Career opportunities are just about zero, as the company will terminate your employment as soon as the contract you have been hired to work on ends.
Cons
1. Ninety percent of positions at Serco are contract positions and your job with Serco will likely terminate when the contract terminates. 2. If you have a broad set of skills, you may be able to latch on to another contract before Serco terminates you. However, don't expect to receive any preference just because you are a current employee, and don't be surprised when they hire five people into positions where you could have worked a month before they terminate you. 3. Health benefits are below average, and employees currently have to pay high deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses after your $1500 annual health care allowance is used up. 4. Career opportunity - about nil.
