Pros

I wrote the schedule and was flexible to my employee’s needs, the actual work is not hard. My schedule could be flexible. I had a good group of people who would work with me for 14 hrs if need be and even on 3rd shift after working in the morning to try and catch up.

Cons

There isn’t enough help even when they say you are fully staffed. You have to rely on on demand labor that doesn’t show up. Meijer treats serv u like less than human beings sometimes. It doesn’t matter how hard you work to get things cleaned up because the warehouse just continues to dump product in your tiny space Meijer allows you to have. It’s discouraging to put so much effort into trying to meet expectations just to be talked down on and even yelled at by Meijer teams who don’t understand that you aren’t in control of a lot of what they complain about. Staffing is so hard right now and any valuable people I worked with got tired of us being treated poorly by Meijer and left. It’s like this at other stores as well.
