Pros
The team members that are still here after the acquisition are great. The culture they built is still in tact in some ways. Competitive product, data to win deals, cross functional focus on sales
Cons
Fortive, who acquired ServiceChannel buys companies to add them to their umbrella of what they call "operating companies". The fortive acquisition has killed any momentum the company had. Killing great product lines, cutting down headcount to look at bottom line, making the company less competitive against competition. The new CEO, is now the CEO of two companies underneath Fortive (yeah it works as good as you think it would). Fortive is just a public PE company. They are cutting budgets, products, headcount, all to make sure "expenses" are as low as possible, which is honestly a horrid look when the CEO of Fortive makes $14million a year. They dont offer any stock plan, and offer worse benefit plans than what we had before Fortive came in.
