Pros

If you are technically minded, are customer oriented and have the drive to do so, there continue to be good opportunities for growth and personal development. If you have a vision for something which will be a value-add either for the customer or to improve working practices and can articulate it, for the most part this will be taken on board. Some superb colleagues to interact with, quite literally all around the world. For the most part, folks are happy to help each other out when approached, which makes for a nice experience.

Cons

Sometimes expectations around career development can be a bit awry when folks join (not my personal experience, but I have seen it with others). Expect to be in the department you join the company with for at least two years before applying for a role in a different group. If your plan is to cut your teeth in one department then progress to another, be sure to be transparent with your management team when the time comes to applying for the new role.

Pros

With having no prior experience in using the platform I found out very easy to navigate and I like it. I use ServiceNow at both of my IT jobs and I'm a pro now!

Cons

Hidden requirement for resolving tickets was beginning to be a nuisance but i have figured it out and mastered it.

Pros

Solving important problems at scale.

Cons

The culture has gone downhill. High performers are not awarded the way they once were. Bureaucracy and complexity have made it nearly impossible to deliver efficiently. There is no a strong product management function, no clear platform, strategy, and leaders have become less empathetic and more toxic as we have grown. Unlimited vacation actually accomplishes the opposite of what it is billed as. Whereas previous tech companies had X number of weeks protected for vacation, at ServiceNow you always feel bad for taking time off and know that people are watching.
