Pros

trong global brand with a massive retail footprint and customer base, offering data-rich environments for analytics and automation projects. Heavy investment in digital transformation—mobile apps, loyalty programs, POS modernization—creates opportunities for software developers to build scalable systems. Exposure to diverse technologies (cloud, APIs, IoT, AI-driven retail insights) due to the company’s smart-store and supply-chain initiatives. Agile, cross-functional teams that encourage experimentation with new tech stacks in a real business context.

Cons

Legacy systems still in transition, leading to integration challenges and technical debt. Tight deployment cycles and constant operational pressure can limit design flexibility. Corporate structure can slow down decision-making or innovation compared to startups. Global scale means complex compliance, localization, and data-security requirements, which add development overhead.
