Pros
A lot of the staff in the sharp grossmont OR are good people, and there are a lot of really pleasant and friendly surgeons and anesthesiologist as well. Overall the people there are good.
Cons
We are so short staffed all the time, constantly training new people and losing them again once they get enough experience to leave. It's a vicious cycle but I understand why people leave. This place burns you out after a while from the constant stress of having too many cases for not enough staff. turnover times are rough because NA's are short and theres almost no float RN's and techs to help open and set up because they are busy giving breaks. A lot of the rooms and equipment are also old and broken, and its up to you to figure it out most of the time.
