Pros
Stable-ish schedule, same time every day 5 days a week. Decent pay, decent benifits, good 401K package, good extra benifits, good PTO- 1 year get some after 90 days prorated based on when u started, 1 week for 1 year, 2 weeks for 2 years, 3 weeks at 5 years-, good medical leave package. After 90 days u get 13 weeks u can take job held. After a year u can leave for 2 years jobs held. OT often available.
Cons
Mandatory OT. Sometimes on Friday they say oh hey..you must work this weekend. Usually in the summer. Winter is painfully slow. Some places shut down and they pay you unemployment until they reopen- usually 4 weeks. Start on 3rd..moving to other shifts is based on seniority.
