Pros

Everyone here seems to be tight-knit, with tenure being possibly over 15+ years. This deeply-rooted culture allows the company to engage in a workflow that is comfortable while being productive. There are events hosted for associates and free food on occasion. There is also a lot of opportunity to shape and create your own projects and value for the company during your stay.

Cons

Since it is a family company, there is a lot of management that are questionable in their competency for their position, and may not be considered for a replacement because they have been with the company for X amount of years. This generally means that any new ideas or people to appear would have to integrate into the "family culture", which entails everything in between politics and drama. There also isn't much of a strict requirement for associates on things like rate, so productivity and warehouse operations are fairly lax, and present problems in backorders, inventory, etc. There isn't much of a drive to shape up and operate at full capacity since the workers are not being pushed to do so.
