Pros
Work pressure is less compared to service companies and people talk with respect with one another. You can clearly make out the difference once you start working for Shell. You will feel and ease and enjoy a good work life balance. Safety is given at most priority.
Cons
There is lot of office politics and favoritism. One needs to have at least two senior people with influence for support, to get ahead in the company. even to get a promotion. Networking is very important.
