Pros
Steady income, benefits, bonus opprotunities
Cons
Long, long, long hours. Early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, you name it. It's non stop. And even when you are "off", you're not truly off. Especially as a store manager. I constantly got phone calls from my employees, my city manager, my customers, my sales reps. It was never ending. Oh, and it says "salary" but it's not really salary because you have to turn in your time sheet every two weeks to make sure you are clocking enough hours. Yes, there is bonus "opportunity" but it is nearly impossible to get. When I started with the company, you did your job, you hit your numbers, you got your bonus. By the time I left 8 years later, it was impossible. The pay was pathetic unless you hit your numbers, too. Witnessed very, very poor support for a lot of the female employees that worked with, specifically the ones who wanted to have families. Unless you have NO life, and don't want to have a life outside of work, don't come work for this company. The best decision I could have made was to find a different job with a company that supported it's employees ideals, ambitions, and just it's employees as individuals. Because SW was NOT it in the slightest.
