Pros

A job is a job. At least you have one. You have benefits if you work full time.

Cons

They trick you into believing you are salaried. Most of the income comes from the 4 hours of overtime every week. The hours you work are long. Don't expect to have a life outside of work. The stores are understaffed because the district managers won't approve more hires. They won't approve full timers because they don't want to pay benefits. This puts a strain on management. Anyone can get away with lying on their time card. You can write employees up 6 times and they won't get fired because the company loses money when people are fired. HR does not care. The sexual harassment meeting was to scare employees to never going to court because apparently it's not worth it in the end. Other managers can be the most awful humans alive. They can be verbally abusive, sneaky, and cut throat. The company does not care. All Sherwin Williams cares about is money. It doesn't matter how nasty/ghetto employees are. Some men who work at the company are awful and so are the contractors. They are extremely racist, sexist, and uneducated. A manager told a customer that he would do dirty things to his associate. For some reason the company has a "no paint on your clothes" rule. It's a paint company! Sherwin Williams only cares about sales. They do not care about employees.

Pros

Leadership training, flexible schedule if your store has the necessary staffing, 401k match

Cons

If you don't have staffing then you are required to work weekends consistently, Sales calls requirements keep getting higher and higher, incompetent corporate leadership. Pay is based on 44 hours worked weekly for assistants(48 for Store managers; leaves room for less work/life balance
