Pros

I have worked for the company for about 6 years and it took me that long to just become a keyholder. They are very biased and only hire people they like or fit them. Managers are a joke most of the time, my manager seems to not be able to find out the simplest information or just won't. I have to call her myself to find out any info if I need it. The customers will argue with you about pricing bc they have reps that will adjust their pricing and sometimes do it without them knowing so that leads the store people to have to deal with the backlash of an angry customer. I had a customer come in and call me some awful names not too long ago and we had to call the cops and everything he threatened me that he would bury me, anyway the DM only said to let the manager handle him from now on instead of banning him money or no he wasn't even buying a lot of stuff. I was scared to go to work for about 3 weeks after that and was laughed at when I said as much.

Cons

poor management Lack of communication between employees and employers They don't keep you safe Money hungry

Pros

easy job with little work load and decent customer base

Cons

they cut my 401k for 6 months with no mention of when it was coming back, terrible CEO that everyone hated who cut jobs to save money for a new headquarter that we absolutely did NOT need, bought a random argentinian paint company to monopolize an already dying business and put the cost back onto the consumer by charging way more for paint. They also give discounts to national brands and apartment complexes that are literally less than what the store charges for paint and forces us to sell to them, losing money in the process ( for the individual stores but making them money since they own the whole manufacturing and distribution process and up-charge stores for products they require us to sell ). Overall climbing up the ladder is easy but upper management suck and will make any good hearted, hardworking manager quit in the long run.
