Pros
Unlikely to be laid off which is a boon in this current job market, the winter season can be relaxing, benefits are good. I've liked most of my managers and coworkers. PTO is good, I've had better but it's a lot for retail.
Cons
Pay isn't good enough. You are working cashier, ware house, translator, inventory, competitor spy, call center, and janitor all at once. Every store I've worked at my assistant manager has called me during my time off. Breaks do not exist. Sundays you open to close by yourself even during the summer when it is extremely busy. And the summers are really busy if you work in a city. Unsafe warehouses. Customers are weirdly entitled and think they can go into your warehouse, office, wherever they want. We still taking cards over phone which i think every other business in the world has stopped doing.
