- Everyone is friendly - This type of work (where you are developing new methods of analysis from scratch) is not commonly found across the UK - A new tram line and stop has recently been constructed nearby (2-5 minute walk away), therefore making it easily accessible. - Flexible working is available, in this case there are core hours where all employees have to be in the workplace, the rest of the hours can be completed before and after the core hours work time.

- Company did not adequately plan for employees being off sick for extended periods of time

I can only speak for the Marketing Department - management low stress work load no drama taking time off was never an issue department was always aware of equipment needs Shimadzu in general was a very friendly environment

Cons

Pay could have been higher I didn't see opportunity for career growth or upward mobility lack of studio for videography and photography lack of proper storage area for equipment
