Favoritism at it's best - Anonymous employee Shionogi Inc. Employee Review

I can only speak for the department I worked in, but the favoritism was appalling. Certain employees were given enough work for job stability while others were left to the side. Favorites were called in the morning and told stay home if there was too much traffic or the weather was too bad. They were also given gifts, taken to lunch, only have to come in 1 day a week, presented to senior leadership for exposure, the list is endless. It was very obvious in meetings who the favorites were and who weren't. They also had no issues with getting time off, I had to write and explanation on why I needed time off.
