Pros
- I can't say this enough, the managers, the managers, the managers! They are WONDERFUL including senior leadership. - The managers will help train you and guide you to help you succeed. There are many many opportunities to grow and move up as long as you work hard and show dedication. - They are huge on mental health and deeply care for their staff - Great people and great teams work here! - ShipStation is sure to recognize the hard work you put in, you will never go unnoticed or unappreciated. - There are reward insensitive to keep you motivated through a system called Kazoo and bonus structures in some departments - ShipStation is always looking for ways to improve its processes so expect changes and the teams to try out new things. Just be open-minded about change and this won't bother you at all. I consider this a pro as it's important to stay ahead of the curve and be the best in the industry!
Cons
- Like many other SaaS companies in this COVID age, work balance can be difficult to manage and you will be very busy at times. - Lots of bugs in the software which can be difficult to work through with some clients. Support response times can be lengthy and resolution time to fix issues can take some time to push out. This creates some unpleasant conversations with clients but ShipStaiton is working to fix this. This is just the nature of the best, ShipStaiton is growing at an exponential rate and with any large growing company, there are bound to be complications. The most important thing is that these things are recognized and we always have a game plan to fix what's not working with the software and with our processes.
