Pros
I genuinely enjoyed delivering for Shipt for the first couple of years that I did. It's a great way to be able to move around while working and you can have a decent amount of control over what you earn in what time frame by moving more efficiently. There are also some members that are truly grateful for the services provided by shoppers and show that gratitude generously.
Cons
Sometime around late 2021 / early 2022 Shipt was taken over by a new CEO and that is when I watched pay drop dramatically, to the point of $5 and 6$ payouts. There is of course no guarantee of tips, and while gas keeps fluctuating between $3 and $5 a gallon, this became increasingly NOT worth my time or effort as I was making next to nothing.
