Management turnover, floundering strategy - Corporate Headquarters Employee Shoals Technologies Group Employee Review

Pros

Pros: - Family-oriented culture, although this is changing for the worse - Throws the biggest, baddest party (hot ticket) annually at the big solar industry show - Well-funded R&D (but not sure if this is true any longer)

Cons

Cons: - Major management turnover, especially in the executive ranks. The former CEO, who now heads a competing company, has cherry-picked the best employees from Shoals. - Although Shoals used to be a high flyer in the solar industry, highly profitable, and with very promising expansion opportunities, this has mostly not played out well for Shoals since the IPO in 2021, and they are losing both margin and market share at an alarming rate. - Serious product quality issues leading to recalls and lawsuits. - Poor employee compensation, especially since a good chunk of the compensation for management employees is based on stock equity, which has been going steadily downward. - Benefits sub-par - Major morale issues. People see the writing on the wall.

Pros

There are plenty of great people here and many opportunities for the company to continue growing and improving.

Cons

People are looking out for themselves instead of doing what is best for the business. There is little HR support and no accountability, no matter where you work. HR may have policies written, but they are not always followed consistently. Too often, decisions are made based on personal judgment rather than company policy. HR policies need to be reviewed, strengthened, and enforced consistently to be successful as a company
