Pros
Flexible Schedule, Easy, good job for someone going to school
Cons
Low Pay, No training, sales associates cheat commission , everything is old fashioned..associates don't even have the option of getting direct deposit they only offer paper checks which are issued on Saturday's. Management has to key in the hours for all the hours worked by everyone at the end of the night which takes time and mistakes can be made we do clock in on the computer but they don't even go by that, they use a sign in sheet to record our times and then at the end of the night it is entered in the system..very old school. Also we have to spend time folding journal tape at the end of the night ,I don't even know of any places that use journal tape anymore and we have to take our own deposits to the bank late at night after the store closes..to me that is a safety issue but whatever. They do not give raises they don't don't do reviews they will just tell you to sell more and that's how you will make more per hour, but what they don't tell you is your commission is averaged into your hours worked for the week so one day you may have done really well and made commission and the next few days it was slow and you didn't so you don't make any extra money, plus you have associates who just say they helped someone and they really didn't and they get the sale and steal commission and nothing is ever done about it and then you have people who are honest and hardworking and barley every make commission bc they clean and do other tasks
