Pros
The good people you meet while working here. They are the only ones that help you keep your sanity long enough to endure the bs you deal with.
Cons
Ooh where do I begin? I have worked for this company for over 10 years and have nothing to show for it. I was at a higher position but voluntarily stepped down for personal reasons and because of that I of course took a pay cut. Even though I have been at my store longer than any other current employee at that location, I was dropped down to minimum wage. On top of that my work hours are so low that my paycheck doesn't even come to $100. I have been denied any extra hours because my sales aren't good enough. I admit I am terrible at selling, but I will do whatever I can to help a customer. I have been thanked numerous times by customers just for doing what I am supposed to do. Commission is a joke. Unless you have an extremely productive day or you steal or cheat personal sales, then most likely you are not going to make commission. If you don't make commission, then you don't get hours. So is the lesson here cheat and steal so you get more money?? I certainly hope not. I have gladly helped out my co-workers in getting certain things done, but now that I am just a sales associate I am no longer allowed to do these things. I feel like I am being treated as if I know nothing about the store. I have bent over backwars for this company but because I needed a little time for my family (which is a hell of a lot more important than this place), I get slapped in the face. I can not wait until I find another job and can finally leave this company. So many years of my life have been wasted here.
