The store manager was a joke. She was highly aggressive with her staff and even customers. I would have customers yelling at me frequently for her actions towards them. I don't remember how many anxiety attacks the environment there caused me. It was a highly toxic place to be if you weren't of the race she preferred and if you were in sight when she got mad. So why did I stay there so long you ask? Because I had a promotion dangled in my face every time I was about to quit. And finally after about 9 months it happened, but the pay didn't make up for anything I had to deal with. My manager was also constantly using MY salary as an example of how broke you could be if you were promoted from sales associate to key holder if you're a good sales person as it is. (You can make more as a sales associate if you sell a lot versus a key holder who's job is to manage, not sell.) Like, what???? I couldn't complain about my manager because as someone else already posted about, she had friends in higher places keeping her safe. It's too bad because I got the job based on how much the CEO's son liked me, so they do have the capacity to seek out good, genuine people. I guess if you deliver results/numbers, the rest is history. Dial-up is ridiculous in such a technologically advancing time. Inventory control is non-existent. There should be a more effective way to insure popular merchandise is in the stores when customers are beating our doors down looking for it. That's a few dollars of my paycheck I'm not getting because of the failed systems in place now. Favoritism goes all the way up the ladder. *I sound like such a negative person writing this review but I'm not at all. I just had a horrible experience here and it's worth writing about now.
