      Nice looking offices Decent Benefits Great company mission Amazing product Good reputation in IT industry

      Cons

      Extremely inexperienced management Chaotic and unclear HR processes (they call themselves the talent team) Little to no career advancement (unless you're BFFs with the hiring manager) Nepotism Very toxic culture (in support org) 30 minute lunches Extremely busy environment which results in a lot of micromanagement and frustration

      Base pay is on the higher end for the role

      Cons

      The new commission structure is among the lowest in the industry. You essentially get your commission paid out in tiny increments spread out quarterly over three years. If the merchant ever leaves Shopify, or goes out of business, you leave or get fired, in that time you lose all payouts.
