      Good mission, good engineers (for the most part)

      Cons

      Company growing fast Product managers are mostly all non-technical and come from non-tech companies where engineers don't make decisions, so they expect to make all the decisions here too.

      Base pay is on the higher end for the role

      Cons

      The new commission structure is among the lowest in the industry. You essentially get your commission paid out in tiny increments spread out quarterly over three years. If the merchant ever leaves Shopify, or goes out of business, you leave or get fired, in that time you lose all payouts.
