      - hiring process brings tons of talent and overall nice people to work with - true remote by default work culture - great work life balance - ability to work on meaningful, impactful projects

      Cons

      - given the current stock price total compensation is good, but not great - fast growth through hiring sometimes results in lack of organization

      Base pay is on the higher end for the role

      Cons

      The new commission structure is among the lowest in the industry. You essentially get your commission paid out in tiny increments spread out quarterly over three years. If the merchant ever leaves Shopify, or goes out of business, you leave or get fired, in that time you lose all payouts.
