Pros
The individual contributors are very talented
Cons
Talent is mismanaged and pushed down by their leads so that leads feel relevant when it is clear that they are barely experienced. I’ve experienced sick and twisted behaviour at this company that at times is hard to believe I went through. It’s not your normal level of toxicity, it’s very dark, these people have issues. I’ve had to take time to recover and focus on my mental health after working here. I’ve had to train on the side to be competitive in my role because my manager didn’t know what the job actually requires and handed out projects based on nepotism. They’ll fly you across the world to chat in a conference room for 10 minutes and then not have any processes whatsoever that the smallest companies would have. There are a lot of people who behave in a delusional way and act beyond their level of experience and if they suck up to the right manager they get rewarded for it, despite having an entry level skill set. Being a manipulative bully gets you further than your actual talent. You don’t get by on talent here at all. You’re kept on the sidelines while managers take credit for your ideas and pitch them as their own impact and cut you out.
