Pros
-Working at Shopify opens a lot of doors when trying to find a new job -Great people and fun company events
Cons
-extremely low pay if you’ve been there for more than a year. -pay gap across teams is INSANE. I’ve seen a someone get paid $100k OTE and $230k OTE on the same team!! -no path to promotion. You can technically get “promoted” but Shopify won’t increase your pay, so it’s essentially pointless -audit process is extremely unfair. If you accidentally enter in a number wrong your entire opportunity is deleted and won’t count towards your quota. I’ve never seen a company try so hard to not pay their employees
